Bolted water tanks: supply, erection, inspection and repair
Bolted tanks are the fastest and longest-lasting way to store potable water, wastewater, brine and process water. We supply and erect all three types — glass-fused-to-steel (GLS), epoxy-coated and GRP — from 20 to 25,000 m³.
El Safa is agent for YHR and Santeks GLS tanks in Egypt. Because we are not tied to one manufacturer, we recommend the type that suits the water, the site and the budget.
We manufacture our own GLS tank lifting jacks in Egypt. That makes erection faster and more competitively priced, and lets us run several tanks in parallel.
For any tank, whoever made it: we erect tanks the client bought from another supplier, inspect existing tanks, and repair leaks, corrosion, and failed sealant or coating — with a written condition report. Our supervisors also travel to support erection outside Egypt.
Reference projects include two 16 m high GLS tanks for the water treatment plant at Lesaffre Egypt, New Nubaria, with Veolia, and a brine collection tank at the New Administrative Capital combined-cycle power plant, with Elsewedy Electric.
Bolted water tanks — GLS, epoxy and GRP
Supply and erection of bolted tanks from 20 to 25,000 m³ — glass-fused-to-steel, epoxy-coated and GRP. Agent for YHR and Santeks GLS tanks in Egypt, with tank roofs from Vacono (Germany) and JSF (Spain). We also supply and install GRP sectional tanks in WRAS-approved panels for drinking water and fire water. We manufacture our own GLS lifting jacks, erect tanks supplied by others, and inspect and repair existing tanks of any brand — handing over bolt-torque records, a hydrotest report and an O&M file on every project.
General construction works
Residential, commercial and industrial buildings, roads and bridges, and complete structural and electrical works, from foundations to finishing, executed to Egyptian and international codes.
HVAC systems
Design and installation of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning for residential, commercial and industrial buildings: air handling units, duct networks and control systems, focused on air quality, temperature control and energy efficiency. Reference: outpatient building at the Nasser Institute, 2025.
Fire protection, security and surveillance
Design, supply and installation of fire alarm and firefighting systems to the Egyptian code and Civil Defence requirements — water and clean-agent suppression, early-warning detection, fire pumps and storage — plus CCTV, access control and data networks. Heritage and government work includes the Egyptian Museum (Tahrir), Imhotep Museum (Saqqara), Mallawi, Beni Suef, San El-Hagar and Kharga museums, the Luxor and Maryout antiquities stores, and the Egyptian Shura Council.
GRP pressure vessels and filters
GRP/FRP pressure vessels for water treatment — calcite contactors, sand and carbon filters, and ion-exchange units — in any size and operating pressure. Produced locally through our manufacturing partner in Egypt: priced below imported vessels, with far shorter lead times and no import or customs risk. We provide the technical data needed for consultant approval, and handle installation, tie-in and commissioning.
Water and wastewater treatment
Sewage and industrial wastewater treatment plants, desalination units and chlorine dosing systems — for cities, resorts and factories. Work includes a compact sewage treatment unit on Pharaoh Island (Taba), chlorine dosing at Manqabad WTP (Assiut), and desalination and industrial wastewater treatment for Gulva Metal (El Obour).
Solar energy
Rooftop photovoltaic systems that generate and store electricity, and solar street-lighting poles for roads and remote areas without grid power. Reference: solar lighting poles in the Red Sea Governorate. Our systems power equipment, heat water and light sites as a clean, sustainable alternative.
Supply of welding machines
Welding machines for factories, workshops and projects: TIG (argon) machines for precise work on aluminium and copper, MIG/MAG machines for fast, productive welding of steel and stainless steel, and plasma machines for high-precision welding and cutting. Models we import include AL300, AL500, AL1200 and AL1600.
